1. What BeatTheBookies is — and is not

BeatTheBookies (operated from the United Kingdom, hereafter “we”, “us”, “our”, or “the platform”) provides matched betting education, instructional content, and software tools to UK residents aged 18 and over.

We are not a gambling operator. We do not accept bets, hold customer betting funds, act as a betting intermediary, or provide any service requiring a UK Gambling Commission licence. All bets are placed by users on their own accounts, with UK-licensed bookmakers and betting exchanges of their choice.

BeatTheBookies is an independent information and software service. Unless we expressly say otherwise, we are not endorsed by, acting for, or affiliated with any bookmaker, exchange, payment provider, or gambling operator mentioned on the site.

Our subscription product is access to educational walkthroughs, a matched-betting calculator, the offers board, and other software tools described on the site.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this site and to engage in matched betting at any UK-licensed gambling operator. By creating an account you confirm you are 18 or over and a UK resident. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we become aware that we have, we will delete that data immediately.

3. Account and subscription

Free plan: Access to the calculator, three hand-picked starter offers, and the standard Live Oddsmatcher board. No payment details required. No expiry.

Full Membership: £2.50 per month, billed monthly via Stripe. Includes the full offers board, premium picks on the Live Oddsmatcher, reload offers, the bookie account tracker, the members' Discord, and future tooling.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then. We do not retain payment details after cancellation beyond what Stripe requires for accounting and chargeback handling.

Refunds: If you upgrade to Full Membership and decide it isn't for you within 3 days of the first charge, email hello@beatthebookies.bet and we will refund the £2.50 charge in full. After 3 days, because access is immediate, refunds for partially-used billing periods are not offered. If we refund the first charge, we may also cancel Full Membership access unless we agree otherwise. You can cancel any time before your next billing date and you will not be charged again.

4. Use of the platform

You may use the platform for your own personal matched betting activity. You may not:

• Share your account credentials with anyone else
• Scrape, reproduce, or redistribute platform content in bulk
• Use the platform on behalf of someone under 18
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our source code
• Use the platform in connection with money laundering or any illegal activity
• Use the platform to evade bookmaker or exchange restrictions, identity checks, duplicate-account rules, or promotional terms
• Open accounts or place bets using false details, borrowed identities, shared payment methods, or any arrangement you are not entitled to use

You are responsible for complying with each bookmaker's and exchange's own terms, market rules, verification requirements, and promotional conditions. We may suspend or terminate accounts in breach of these terms without refund.

5. Matched betting — your responsibility, your risk

Matched betting is a mathematical technique. When executed correctly it produces calculated profit from bookmaker promotional offers. However, you place the actual bets on bookmaker websites using your own funds, and several factors can produce a negative outcome:

• Human error — placing the wrong stake or selection
• Odds movement between placing the back bet and the lay bet
• Bookmaker terms voiding a bet (insufficient odds, ineligible market, etc.)
• Bookmaker restrictions on your account
• Misreading the calculator output or following an outdated walkthrough

Profit figures shown anywhere on the platform are illustrative averages, not guarantees. Individual results vary based on execution quality, time invested, and bookmaker decisions. We do not promise any specific profit, income, or return.

Odds, exchange prices, liquidity, bookmaker promotions, eligible markets, payment methods, wagering terms, and expiry windows can all change or be withdrawn without notice. We try to keep the platform current, but we do not warrant that any odds, offer summary, walkthrough, market availability, or platform feature is complete, uninterrupted, or still current at the exact moment you act on it.

You must verify the live bookmaker price, the live exchange price, the operator's current promotion terms, and your own eligibility before placing any bet or deposit. You are solely responsible for your bets, your operator accounts, your taxes, and your decisions. We provide information and tools; we do not provide financial, legal, tax, or regulated gambling advice.

6. Responsible gambling

Matched betting involves placing real-money bets on gambling operators. While the technique is designed to produce a calculated outcome, you are still using gambling accounts and gambling-adjacent tools.

7. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where English law does not allow it. Subject to that, BeatTheBookies is not responsible for losses caused by bookmaker or exchange decisions, promotional withdrawals, account restrictions, stake limits, identity checks, settlement decisions, voids, odds movements, exchange liquidity, market suspension, or your own execution errors.

We are also not liable for losses arising from reliance on prices, offer summaries, walkthroughs, or platform features after the underlying third-party operator has changed or withdrawn them, or for temporary downtime or data gaps outside our reasonable control.

Our total liability to you in any 12-month period is capped at the total amount you paid us in subscription fees during that period. We do not exclude liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be notified to active subscribers by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
