Matched betting probably isn't the right tool for you yet.
You answered that you currently place bets for entertainment, and we'd rather tell you the truth now than enrol you and have this cause problems later.
Matched betting works mechanically - you enter values, calculate the bets, place them, and walk away with the profit. But it puts you in regular contact with bookmaker apps that are specifically designed to convert you into a paying customer.
For someone who doesn't gamble, those apps are inert tools - you log in, complete the offer, log out. For someone who already enjoys placing the occasional bet, that same contact carries real risk. The line between "matched betting" and "actual gambling" becomes much easier to cross. We've seen it happen, and we'd rather not contribute to it.
That doesn't mean you've done anything wrong, and it doesn't mean BeatTheBookies is closed to you forever. If your relationship with gambling changes - whether that's stopping entirely or simply not having the urge any more - come back. We'll be here.
If gambling has started to feel less like fun and more like something you'd like help stepping back from, these are the right people to talk to. All free, all confidential.
